This is an ongoing series, so below are statements for each individual piece, but the following represents the whole series:
"Our thoughts are at once conscious and unconscious, emotional and logical, images and words. Yet microscopically, our thoughts are simply little neurons, sending tiny electrical pulses throughout our brain, making new connections, forming new threads. In these pieces, I use delicate curves of white string to capture the imagery of neurons and to create a cross-section of what our thoughts might look like. The designs loosely reference the idea of ink blot tests, in which a persons unconscious mind can be more understood by what they notice in an organic image.
